Padmanabhaswamy Temple

Padmanabhaswamy Temple lies in Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala. The place of pilgrimage was constructed in the Dravidian style of architecture. This sacred place is consecrated to Lord Vishnu. Here, you can explore a number of statues, monuments, paintings, sculptures which are designed very splendidly. Padmanabhapuram Palace was built in around 1601 A.D. It was the home of the Rajas of Travancore in southern Kerala. It is surrounded by a 4 km-long stone fort that was built at the same time.
